Misuse of the apostrophe

I am one of those anal people who think the apostrophe should be used correctly. I have been known to go into shops and tell people to fix up their signs (nicely of course). What is the worst case of apostrophe misuse or abuse you have ever seen? Perhaps this site will inspire you.

How about the one I see most? Its vs. it's. Drives me crazy when people get that one wrong.

Its time for me to go find other uses and abuses of apostrophe's like when people use them when classifying groups' of things. Or when they forget the "S" or the "T". And sometimes when they accidentally use 'quote marks' instead (and vice versa) Or when they cant remember that a contraction is called for to indicate the combination of two words. Dont' that just get on you're last nerve's?

It annoy's me that people who can't be bothered to learn apostrophe rules' just put apostrophe's before or after any "s" in the vain hope's that at least they will be correct sometimes'.
I read recently about a store in northern England. It sold potato's, bean's and carrot's according to the sign. The name of the store was Bennys Fruit Shop. LOL.
