After Jordan and Egypt attacked Israel in 1967, Israel fought back and seized the West Bank from Jordan and the Sinai and Gaza from Egypt. There were no Palestinians then. The Arabs in the occupied territories were either Jordanian or Egyptian citizens. Both Egypt nor Jordan have given up on regaining their lost territories. They both have signed treaties agreeing to the new boundaries.
