I've counted each and EVERY time I have been mistaken for a female on this board and tons of emails about how this person or that person wants to do me or how to please me. Some are rather funny, some are crass, and others are just plain flattering and thoughtful. <----ladies, you might want to snag the men who made those last types of emails!
Anyhoo....I think I recieved my 32nd email asking if I was female and was wanting someone. I'm flattered, really. But I'm male. And most who emailed me are within close vicinity of Sacramento or at least in the CA state. So at least they're paying attention to where I live, which is a good thing! (maybe? ) Anyway, it got tiring all the time breaking some men's hopes (believe me, some guys seemed desperate and it was hard to put them down that way), so I'm stating it here for all to see:
I AM A MALE! O_O
lol and my signature should now reflect that! lol Just thought I'd get this out in the open, that's all.

I think the reason you get mistaken for a woman is largley because of your avitar....and some people don't bother to read profiles either.... Just an observation on my part

Another option: Change your location to read 'Man in California'. You're right though - the sig line should be enough. (Although, if I recall, during your first couple of posts, that sig line wasn't there. Luckily, catching the FF9 reference in your name and checking the profile set me straight on the issue.)

It's better than being mistaken for a woman in real life. It's starting to happen again now that I'm growing my hair out (and I'm kind of short for a guy, 5-6). When I used to wear a skirt it was even worse. But I used to get called ma'am or miss all the time when I was facing away from someone and I had long curly hair.

Sorry if we respond the way we do...but take it as the compliment it is intended to be...women without reading ya profiles assume ya women cause ya get us, talk striaght or show emotions all of which men in our day to day existance do not It's a compliment not an attack on ya masculinaty

I've read some of your posts and you do sound like a sweet guy <old lady talking> lol and truth is, when I first saw your posts, I also thought you were female, mainly because of the Av, as silencer said.
Now I'm not suggesting you change your Av or anything, but some people don't always look at profiles, and when there's an Av, it's really the first thing we see when we open a thread, and it does make an impression.

flawed_ethics suggestion is a good one, then you could find something really to your liking for your signature line, make sense?
I just felt like saying a little something, don't mind me.

I've never written you, but upon flipping through some of your posts, my first impression was that you were female, pretty much because of that pic. lol

I think that if you would change the picture from a woman to a man it would change the replies that you are getting. I also thought that you were a female because of the picture you use. Just change it to a burrly looking guy and problem solved.
