hmm not real sure what all is in biloxi since the hurricane went thru i think it leveled most the hot spots there
yea, we've all pretty much come to that conclusion.
the casinos are being built back up, the beau rivage and the hard rock seem to be popular joints, but that's not my thing.
we did find a little pool hall called skeeters down the road from the base that's not bad, just a place to hang out drink some beers and shoot some pool, but other than that it's pretty much bare.
it looks a lot better than it did right afterwards though, i was down in gulfport like the day after helping get much needed food and water in, went out on the coast one day and saw (and smelled) all the damage, you wouldn't think water could be that harsh, but damn.
i live in oklahoma where i've seen the aftermath of many a tornado (lost my job to one back in high school), and a hurricane's got it beat by far as far as the area of destruction.
so yea, i can understand things being a little rough down here.
i do however have a 4 day holiday over the 4th, so if anybody knows any good happenings and/or doesnt mind giving a lonely soldier a ride i'm down, just sux not having a car. my fucking car is basically dead so i opted to fly, so it makes it that much more boring.
keep in touch man, i at least wanna have people to chat with even if we dont ever hang out.
