Head of the combined forces of Planet N72
It was year 2270 and there had been many changes.
The space exploration had taken new dimensions in past two centuries along with all science and technology.
But as the man went deeper in space he found new areas of expansion, and movement.
Since the population on Earth had gone to untolerable level mankind was forced to find new planets to settle on and the scientists managed to do it successfully.
But as the mankind spread soon it encountered a new species they were some sort of strange creatures who did not seem to get killed easily and and they were creating havoc on one of the planets inhiited by humans N72.
This was the planet which was freshly taken by humans, and still the defence council were not able to put in a forcefield on it unlike the rest of the planet which all had a protective forcefield around it.
Since it had been attacked by these creatures the planet N72 was isolated from the entire linkage where the forcefield using the Solar shields on each planet had been tightened, making them all secure from invasion.

Now N72 being isolated was in dire straits.

Emily who lived on planet N53 had been appointed as the head of security for planet N72 before the invasion. Now since the planet had been invaded the council decided that not to risk anymore lives by putting more troops there, but Emily fought hard and was finally able to convince the Board that they can't live the 1 million people there to die or become slaves.
She managed to get a sanction for 1000 troops in her charge for the rescue operation of planet N72.
As she went out thinking about the job in hand she remembered a friend by name of david Ballway with whom she had studied how to control the mystique elements and who was her senior at the forces but was wrongly framed and discharged from the job

David Ballway sat in a small bar in of of the boreder town with in the sheild. He was dressed in a old trench coat with black jeans and a black tshirt. His eyes hidden from veiw behind darken sunglasses.

I knew your whereabouts and walk upto the bar you were sitting in.
I was wearing my Federal Army Uniform but realised you may get angry watching me wear it so i changed into a nice dress. I had always cared about you, and from the days in academy was attracted to you.
Even after you had left the Millitary we were buddies, though due to the workload on e we could meet a precious few times.
I opened the door to the bar and saw you sitting in your favourite seat.
I come and sit down in front of you and see you were looking out of window at the flower bed.
I decide to let my presence known and say "Hi David how are you?"

"Well well its been a while its what is now Major or Leutienut"David said as he was drinking some bootleg bathtub booze. He didnt care for the miltary or those in it since they drummed him out on some bogus charge then again he wasnt what he looked like. He was old man but ina young man's body since he was Human but not quite mortal.

I say in a concerned voice "David i think you have had too much of drink, we should go back either to your place or mine !"

"You arent in charge of me remember I no longer in the service"he said as he drinks some more of his drink. He wasnt drunk just trying to have drink since he didnt care about the world or the miltary

"David you know i have come here to you to seek your help, to save people on N72, i have not come here for ome stupid Federal forces, you very well know that i had resigned if it were not for you the day you were framed!, you very well know what i spoke is out of concern and our friendship and not anything else!" i say this looking straight in your eyes

"Well the people can bite my shinney armored ass yet your still in the miltary. Where I was drummed out because I didnt want to listen to some whiney ass lil punk who thaught they knew more then me"he said as he pours himself another drink.

"david you know i like you and..!" but i stopped dead i had said the words i never wanted to

"Well its bit late for that so the forces want me back or you askin personally?"he asked since he knew the war effort was failing but hey they didnt want to listen to his suggestions in the first place.

"You very well know that i do not give a damn to the forces since you were framed with those charges and you quit, it is me who has come to ask you for help, but not for federation but for humanity, and i am sure you will never let me down!" i speak looking now directly in your eyes with my hand grabbing yours, not allowing you to take another sip till you answer me

"You say humanity what do you know about that. Hell I been around longer then most folks seen what humanity has done planets we colonized and such. If it was for the innocent then yes I do it but not for humanity since we are in a way like virus we use up what have then tech never give it back in return"he said as he felt her soft hand on his

"I do not know the difference between humanity and innocent, the way you differentiate, i just know there are innocent brother and sister of ours out there on N72, who knew nothing about the invaion like us, but since they were poor they were forced to leave the main planet and settle down on the new planet, and now there lives are in danger, and i have manged just a troop of 1000 soldiers to take with me, we will recieve no reinforcements, and it has been made clear!, there is an ammunition factory on that planet and we will need to capture it first, and from there expand our campaign, i thought you will stand by me, like i always did for you, it is not just for them, it is for me too!"

"You know how to twist the knife at onese belly you know that. So Am i getting my commishin back am I just privateer."he said to her

"I know David you hate the federation , so i shall not ask you to rejoin it, you are coming as a privateer, with me, to help me and give me company, i shall also see if all the 1000 men wish to come, if any of them don't i will not be taking them cause they will only damage the morale!"
"So how about both of us go to a nice restau for a candlelight dinner like old days now we are team again!"

"MMM so I would only receive orders from you"he asked her as he didnt mind her but as before he knew there was line between supiours and subordants.

"No we shall decide together and give orders together!, we will work jointly as one person"

"Wouldnt that screw up the chain of command. Soldier only need 1 commander giving order. You know that and Taught you that as well"he said

“Well in that case David, it will have to be me, but please don’t take it wrong I trust you more then I had trust myself, and you will be second in command!”

"Well I rather be an advisor then in the chain of command"he said as he gives her a wink because if they were ona recon mission if things got tight they may have to impervise to keep warm.

"Anything, now should we go to have some food, or do you wish to drink and keep me hungry!"

"Food sound about right"he said to her as he get up. He hadnt been drink that very long when she came in so he was fine. He was one that could hold his liquor and sober up at a drop of a hat.

I smile and say"Thanks!, well so would you like to have dinner at some restaurant or at my place with some special stuff!"
