Missing Thread

I just submitted a tread to "the light", and it told me thread submitted, but there is no link to the thread and the story has not appeared in the just updated area. I don't suppose someone could get it back from the buffer or something.


UPDATE: I posted another chapter in the same position, but I think my first version was better than this rewrite. Apparently if you take the time to write the story in window, then your login times out, then when you hit add, it goes to the login screen and FLUSHES THE STORY, then returns you to the original thread with all your work destroyed. This is a major system flaw.

If only one flaw could be fixed, it should be that the FAQ is not stickied to the front page.
Though then losing a thread to the log out-mechanism would stop being a part of the informal Chyoo initiation ritual.

There is no need for it to occur at all. Someone put explicit blank field commands in the page formatting; the web browser reloads the page with your stuff there and then instantly obeys the command that the fields must be blank and deletes them. This is by no means a requirement, or even good web programming practice.
