Missing my Dom

I don't post very often lol 4th one in how many years shy and private guess. I had a wonderful Dom, everything a sub could wish for and more Some how life became messed up for both of us and we lost everything we had. Just sad.

I'm really sorry to hear this. Going through the grieving mechanisms associated with [any] heartbreak can leave you feeling numb. Your emotions may be all over the place and that's okay; you're entitled to feel however you want to feel. Just know that you will recover from this difficult time and you'll come out stronger.

Try to surround yourself with things that bring you joy. If it helps, talk to someone you trust or write your feelings down.

Let your heart and spirit mourn; but also let them heal, especially before you consider playing again. It will get easier for you and your Dominant (keep in mind that they are experiencing their own grieving process as well). Give it time, you'll get past the pain and find your happy.

Losing a relationship sucks, and losing a good D/s relationship sucks doubly since our tastes make it so much harder for us to find compatible mates.

I totally understand how you feel. Honestly, it's really hard to get over a great relationship, especially a D/s relationship (in my experience, anyway). I had a partner that bailed on our relationship without much warning. Even though I'm in another relationship now, I still think about him pretty often. Just be gentle with yourself in your time of healing, and remember that it's okay to cry when you want to cry! I wish you luck, and hope that you find someone who makes you feel even BETTER than your previous partner!
