It was a bit frustrating not being able to get onsite for my daily dose of abuse and laughs.

What's even more frustrating is not being able to reach any of my family in Jersey to find how they are doing. I'm about ready to jump in the car and head up there.

Even our own Lily is in an area hard hit.

Ugh me too. Have 3 friends that are MIA all day. Finally they popped up in NYC at my sisters and another friend. I'm glad they could get out.

I hope everyone who has family and friends who were involved find them safe and secure. I imagine communication will be hard for a few days. I know when Katrina hit it was a nightmare here and we weren't even directly hit.

I've been fortunate enough to talk to one of my friends, who are without power and are running on generators right now, but still am waiting to hear from another.
