Miss. Trial is a different way of saying mistrial. This could be a story of a housewife who is sexually abused by her husband. Her husband is a multi-millionaire. She takes him to court to sue him for sexual abuse, and to take his money. But to insure her victory, she seduces everyone surrounding the trial. The judge, the lawyers, the spectators, etc.

but he pays them off better, or blackmails them, so he gets out, and she runs off with a cop protector. the sequels follow them in a series of "Fugitive" style adventures, where she uses her sex to keep one step ahead of him, with brief glimpes of his sexual cruelty as he trails behind.

... and for that she is sent to jail and then ...

Mistrial is bad enough, but misses trial is a clear admisssion of guilt.
