The above article defines the problem as if its like bad breath or a vaginal infection: ITS STARTS OUT SMALL AND YOU DONT EVEN KNOW IT TILL IT DEVOURS YOU.

I'm the real deal. With me it aint bad breath or belching or whatever. My misogyny is a logical, reasoned, process acquired after a long life.

I start at YOU ARE WHAT YOU ARE and even a he man like Chazz Bono is held hostage by his real nature.

1.Tbh I never gave such things even a passing thought, until I emmigrated.
- Maybe I was lucky to be on the right environments, or I had blinders on, but I felt that gender was low on the list re how people treated each other.
- NZ: gosh, their men are So respectful of women. And I had -with minor exceptions- good experiences with other immigrants (but for a few muslims) too.

I was struck, however, by the fact that (unlike NZ women)A Lot of brittish immigrant women talked about gender inequality and misogyny.
- Australia: can't make up my mind yet. Men tend to be a bit more straightforward and less polite, but I haven't been here for that many years, to be able to tell.


2.I read somewhere however, that there's a paradox going on (in Western countries):
That one encounters more misogynistic attitudes among laypeople, in those countries that have the most institution-based measures that promote women.
They didn't say if it's a chicken or egg thing, tho.

I was raised in a home with mom and grandma and great-granma (part of the year), two aunts, and 5 sisters. What I know of women I learned at home then from a wife and 3 daughters.

On average the guys at home (then and now) are taller than 6-3 and many pounds hevier than the girls. When I put my shoulder to the wheel it rolls. I don't care whats in the car or wagon.

My petite 5 foot 2 ma who weighed 105 pounds couldn't compete with her big sons and husband. She possessed different talents and a gun. I am programmed to do the heavy lifting and the nasty work almost no sane woman wants to do. Doesn't bother me at all to stick my hand in a toilet full of shit. It washes off. On the other hand I hate to cook. I conclude that a large amount of misogyny is simply druthers. I don't care if you can change a car tire, I change the car tires. But I don't suck cocks. That's girl work.

I really like this............. I don't cook, wash dishes, or wash clothes. My wife doesn't chop wood, mow the lawn or wash the car. She's never worked outside the home but worked her ass off raising our three kids and an adopted son.
After the normal American way of life changed for equality America went to hell. I'm sure it will get better with a woman President.
