Miserable Music (songs that make you cry)

There's a whole laundry list of country songs that make me cry. Mostly I hear them when I go into Dollar General to shop and I'm a captive audience. There's this one I always used to hear about a little girl who's hiding behind the couch when her dad kills her mom. I don't know the name of it, but WAH! I would never voluntarily listen to that song, but I weep every time I hear it. :(

Bell Bottom Blues by Derek and the Dominos. I don't have lyrics, but it's sad.

Gah! I hate it when I'm in a store and some song makes me tear up. "My Sweet Lord" by George Harrison will do it every time, esp. since he passed from this life.

Does it to me every time....

Blacks Boys On Mopeds
~Sinead O'Connor

Margaret Thatcher on TV
Shocked by the deaths that took place in Beijing
It seems strange that she should be offended
The same orders are given by her

I've said this before now
You said I was childish and you'll say it now
"Remember what I told you
If they hated me, they will hate you"

England's not the mythical land of Madame George and roses
It's the home of police who kill black boys on mopeds
And I love my boy and that's why I'm leaving
I don't want him to be aware that there's
Any such thing as grieving

Young mother down at Smithfield
5 am, looking for food for her kids
In her arms she holds three cold babies
And the first word that they learned was "please"

These are dangerous days
To say what you feel is to dig your own grave
"Remember what I told you
If you were of the world, they would love you"

England's not the mythical land of Madame George and roses
It's the home of police who kill blacks boys on mopeds
And I love my boy and that's why I'm leaving
I don't want him to be aware that there's
Any such thing as grieving.

Sorry but I'm not going there, and yes there are a couple of songs that will make me choke up. (Just heard one by Geoge Strait on the radio and had to go downstairs and give my wife a hug.)
