Mis-Matched step-siblings

Lately I've been thinking about the story possibilities of step-siblings, especially ones whose personalities clash. I find the idea of two people who normally wouldn't interact being forced to live in the same house and even develop the start of a familial bond as well as a romantic one rife with possibilities.

For all of the ideas I've had, the characters became step-siblings between the ages of 13-18 (and of course all sex scenes are between characters who are of age). That way their high-school personalities have begun to develop and they have clashing personalities.

Some ideas I've had:

An introverted nerd and a cheerleader: The cheerleader and her step-bother get along for the most part but she tries to keep her distance from him at school. She currently has a boyfriend whose pressuring her to have sex but she's too nervous that she'll be bad in bed and that it will hurt. Wanting to learn what sex is like, she approaches her step-brother with the idea of them losing their virginities to each other. While they get along, they aren't that close and he's too nice of a guy to brag about it and even if he did he would be seen as a pervert. The two of them have sex and the cheerleader is surprised how loving, eager, and gentle her stepbrother is. She eventually breaks up with her boyfriend because the brief grope session she allows makes her disgusted with him and when he badmouths her stepbrother she leaves him and goes back to her stepbrother who makes love to her the way she wants.

The story would either end there or go a slightly more depressing route: The two of them keep making love but the cheerleader thinks that it's just for fun and so the two of them will be better lovers for their future partners. However, her stepbrother thinks they're doing it because she loves him romantically and begins kissing her and taking her out on what he considers dates. The cheerleader meanwhile just thinks he's being nice and wants to practice kissing too. However, she realizes his true feelings for her after an event (for example, the cheerleader hooks him up with a friend but he can't perform when she comes on to him and ends the date early). The cheerleader realizes that she unintentionally took advantage of a socially immature person who was desperate for love and feels guilty. The story would end either with the cheerleader breaking things off (they could maybe pick it up again after they grow up a bit) or admitting that she did love her stepbrother but wants to restart their relationship right.

2. Another Idea I had was the School Slut and the straight-A student. I figured there were a few ways to take this. For example, the Slut teases her new step-sibling mercilessly at first, meeting him/her in a towel, tanning in front of their window in a tiny bikini, brushing her breasts on their back in front of their friends and teachers and even sitting on their lap. Eventually, the Straight-A student snaps and calls her bluff. The next time she teases him/her the straight-A student grabs her, throws her on a bed and fucks her like crazy. Another idea, with this concept I had was that the slut was actually a very nice person and warms up to their stepsibling very quickly but notices that their new stepsister/brother has recently become depressed. She finds out that her stepsister is a lesbian who has never had a girlfriend and is too afraid to ask anyone out/ her stepbrother has been rejected again and rather abusively. She then helps them out by being their date to homecoming/prom and making love to them afterwards.

3. Extrovert nerd and popular classmate. Instead of a shy person, the nerd is actually very outgoing and doesn't care what people think of him/her, they happily wear whatever they want and even cosplay and larp while the popular classmate is very worried about his or her image. The two start bonding as the popular step-sibling is able to be him/herself and the nerdy sibling is able to find someone to hang out with who isn't like his or her friends. They start becoming attracted to each other slowly but there are events that propel it along (Nerd sibling could be a "White Wolf" player who dresses in sexy gothic garb or cosplays as something the step-sibling finds hot)

lol, they are pretty similar. I guess when I first posted I just had "nerd gets hot chick" on the brain.

I did have another idea that actually strays from that though.

Neat freak and slob.

Pretty much, they've lived under the same roof for around four years and get along well...as long as they stay out of each other's bedrooms, where their habits are taken to the extreme. However, some remodeling gets done and they're forced to be in the same bedroom.


The Neat Freak grows sick of having to put up with her step-sister's messy ways and cleans the room while she's gone. As she explores the room, the neat freak finds soaked panties, toys, and half-written erotic stories in a notebook before finding a porno mag (or maybe a flash/fleshdrive) filled with lesbian porn this surprises her but she's even more shocked when she notices that the page/video her stepsis views the most has a porn starlett who dresses and acts just like her (the neat freak), while she's coming to a shocked realization, her stepsis arrives home and has just bought a strap-on.

The reverse to this would be the slob looking through her step-sister's things and maybe even borrowing her clothes. This freaks out the neat freak and she tackles her step sis and rips the clothes off of her. then, still running on adrenaline, she spanks her stepsister.

I don't know about the whole nerd-hot girl storyline; it feels sort of recycled but I do like the neat freak plot line a lot.

An alternate version would be; a trade where he cleans after her for a favor, any favor and each day of cleaning leads to a bit more sexual exploration.

could always go the oppiste route with the guy being a player and the girl being the nerd, or have them on both hard headed can't stand each other at times but respect each other.

I like both sets of ideas. A guy being a player while his step-sister was a prude (or just stuck-up) is certainly an interesting idea and them both being hard-headed is good for creating conflict.

Another idea could be an over-achiever and a slacker. She/he could be always going out, being five or six clubs and sports while their sibling is content to just party and goof off at home. Something happens to the overachiever which makes them have to miss out on their clubs or school (maybe a broken ankle or an illness) and the slacker has to take care of them.

The two of them fight for a bit (The slacker bringing up how the overachiever has very few friends and hasn't even gone on a date/ The slacker has never accomplished anything and his/her friends aren't any good) and then the slacker gets frustrated and invites his or her friends over to tick off the overachiever. The friends make it hell for the overachiever (maybe even taking advantage of the situation to tease them and even grope them) and eventually the slacker gets bothered at what his friends are doing and makes them leave before comforting his step-sis who cries over the fact she hasn't had a date/been kissed ever and that she feels like crap being unable to do anything thanks to her current condition.

The slacker would then kiss her and start to help her back to her room when she asks him to help her shower. It starts somewhat innocently until she asks him to tell her how her body rates compared to other girls the slacker has been with and then guides his hands to her breasts.

these ideas are all quite hot! My step-sisters fueled my imagination when I was younger. While there is a tendency to develop characters along stock types - the jock, the cheerleader, the staight-A student, the geek, etc., there is a real psychological dynamic at play, often, between step-siblings that has its own tension.

My step-sisters lived with my dad while we lived with our mother. as well, our step-mother was mean and never that accepting of our presence in the house. Whenever we visited it was always a disaster. There was jealousy towards our step-sisters that they got to live with our dad and have a regular relationship with him, while ours became increasingly strained and distant. This is just one example of the real dynamic between step-siblings.

That jealosy itself was enough to drive tensions between us - it had nothing to do with what click they belonged to in hs. There was almost a built-in hatred between us that was made very murky by teen hormones compounded by their breasts!

I can see the potential of some good stories written around the lived tensions of step-siblings, rather than contrived, stereotyped personalities...
