Mis-categorized(?) BDSM Story

I am Xploremyworld, and I authored a literotica story, 'Journey Into the Darkside (1/25/05),' and probably placed it into an ineffective category. Being relatively new to this site, I'm not certain that the bad judgement can be corrected. The reason I bring this up here is because I felt the story to be sensitive, yet erotic, and with sufficient depth-of-character to be meaningful to BDSM lifestylers. It is also essentially reflective of my initial association with D&s/BDSM. As a consequence, the story languishes in the 'Novels and Novellas' category with little attention, and is usually misunderstood by the 'vanilla' crowd. I'd like the story to at least get some attention from those who understand our community. Any suggestions?

You may try asking this over on the author's board? Some of the writers here have had similar issues: I don't know if they've ever gotten their category switched. You may want to ask DVS about it. Now then, when I went round and round about placement of one of my more extreme tales, I ended up withdrawing it and submitting it elsewhere. My final solution? I don't submit to Literotica anymore.

From my experience you need to go to the submissions page and submit it again with 'Edit' after the title, BDSM as the section, and a note in the Author's note box to say you want to change the section you want it placed in. This way I think you can still retain your votes. Good luck....usually takes around 2-4 days to be changed at the moment.

Thanks for all the kind suggestions. I think I'll try to resubmit, as catalina suggested. I'll let you know if it works. I don't mind valid criticisms of my work, but it bothers me that I'm not even being viewed.
