One of the few things that get on my nerves with people on this board is their reluctance to put down where they are from, either in their signature or their profile..? if they did it would make life a litlle more easy for those of us who like to know and it doesn't have to even be the city just the country would do, so come on you all and get those profiles filled in.

I I, sir! Done, sir! Ohio, sir!

Of course I am not the one you are complaining about, most likely. Hopefully?!?

Juspar, Are you a kiwi? I thought you were an Aussie! I am confused now!

Have a nice day ...

I'm sorry Outsider ... it's not reluctance on my part, just laziness when it comes to filling in (online) forms - combined with the fact that where everyone is from isn't a burning issue for me. I appreciate that some people like to know where others are from, and whatever reasons some might have for not giving such information, well, it doesn't interest me really, and I respect their right to remain 'anonymous' - geographically or otherwise.

I frequent 'The Lounge' at Literotica's chat site, where most of the regulars know where I stay; perhaps I ought to take the time to let everyone 'here' know: I'm from England.

I choose not to use my real name or put in my profile where I am from. It is not a issue and quite frankly how do you know what some one puts in their profile to be the truth? Honestly does it matter?

As for peoples name I like to respect their privacy but it helps me to tailor my questions and answers if I know where a person comes from

I can Understand this.. it is Nice to know how many countries are representeed on Lit.. To know that you might have freinds that you have met here in the UK, Denmark, Australia, New Zeiland, USA, and many others but it hard to tell, if not told..

and hey Who knows you might find out that one or more of us lives with in 50 miles of each other.. like a few on here that I know and have met.. but didn't know about till we started looking at where people are from..

Now I also Understand that people don't wnat others to know where they are from as well and that I think is respectable also.. It is just how some one feels, if they feel comfortable telling what contry, or state they are in then let them if they don't then let do that as well.. it is not up to us to make it mandatory that they fill in all of the info.. that is not what the site is about. it is about having fun and meeting new people around the world, and reading and writting stories..

and if you don't want people to know where you are, you have that right...

E

P.S. Sorry about the lecture it was not intended twords anyone in particular..

Hummm...well I just like my pic in the spot its in now but I dont mind people knowing I am now living in Utah in the USA. I say now living in because you are talking to an Air Force brat who has moved so many times and lived in so many places its not funny. I have even lived in Germany twice (I joined the Army at one point in my life much to the horror of my father). But Utah is where I reside-for now. Moving all that time has given me a bit of a wandering spirit.

Where in Germany, if you don't mind? I lived at Ramstein, and am going back to Germany in a few months.

Like I said it's just a minor gripe and it doesn't keep me awake at night's but I like to know a little about the people I'm talking to and I hope they'd like to know a little about me.

My dad was stationed at Wiesbaden and I was stationed at Ansbach. My great grandmother came over here from Furth Germany so when we were over there we did a whole lot of research on our family tree.
