It's the same old story....to much usage and waste.

Ground water is replenishment in cycles that are based in geologic time....use it like a cheap whore and the consequences will be dire for any population that does this.

Yea..."it could happen" doesn't mean the most fresh water rich region in N. America and one of the most FW rich spots on the planet has a water "crisis".

It means the the enviro-commies are being hyperbolic alarmist to try and grab those resources.

Looks like Minnesota was well on its way to becoming a rural shithole BEFORE BoBo fled California one step ahead of his creditors.

On one hand, the excessive phosphorus runoff from row farms is slowly poisoning the water supply, which in turn is resulting in a new generation of simpleton children....that's actually a positive for BoBo, his chronically underachieving children will fit right in academically.

If Minnesota enacts water restrictions, though, his hobby "grow farm" will be seriously at risk, and the only thing keeping his family from a steady diet of government cheese would be his government welfare check.
