I've not written a word since it got hot because my normal writing time is taken up by doing all my chores that it's too hot to do past 9am. So I'm up now and about to tidy, put in some washing and do some baking for the school summer fair.

I'm still enjoying the sea breeze.

Later on, when the sun moves around, I'll sit on my balcony with a cool drink watching the beach and sea activity.

My town even got a mention on our local TV news last night with interviews of people enjoying themselves on the stony beach. Then they cut, without explanation, to a sandy beach about ten miles away where small children were building sand castles. That's impossible here except when we import a few truck loads of sand for our festival. The implication of the TV report was that we have sand.

We do. At low tide and only at low tide.

It's still muggy here, and right now its overcast and sprinkling with rain. I'm still sitting here with conservatory door open, big fan blowing right on me, and a tall glass of coke and ice. Dressed in shorts and t-shirt. I hate this weather. Let's have a flippin' good storm and clear the blasted air!!

The arm is sore now, the wound is pulling a bit, but it's ok, and I've had a nice peaceful day off.
