mindboggling question of where to start?

Most would say just jump right in! Sometimes hard to do when it seems that everyone has a history with everyone else and you're the new kid on the block. People are less likely to warm up to you when they don't know who the hell you are just jumping into the middle of their conversations. So, then it's up to you to introduce yourself and hope that someone might take notice and that you won't always get lost in the shuffle while trying to establish yourself among the regulars. Such has been my experience and observation in chatrooms and bulletin boards across the wild plains of the internet.

Again, i find myself in the midst of this old quandry. i am not new to Lit but new to the bulletin boards which is to say i might as well be a complete and total newbie to the whole shebang.

i go by belle or spanky around these parts. i'm 31 and about to transplant myself from florida to alabama and enter a whole new life situation. i could say a ton of things about myself, but the real me you'll learn about through my posts and my stories and any private conversations that may ensue. i at least, though, wanted to say hello and that i hope i'll fit in to this quaint little corner of the www...~smile~
