Mind Control Story (very titulating)

How about a mind control story.

Storyline: A husband and wife on vacation are abducted and drugged to sleep. The husband wakes up in nowhere and does not find his wife. He searches the ends of the world for her, even hiring a private investgator. Finally, the PI finds someone that resembles her in a brothel/strip bar/escort service. The husband goes to her, but she does not recognize him, and when he calls her name, she does not react.

It seems that the wife has been brainwashed and given a new identity. The sad part is that the wife seems very content with her new life.

Will the husband try to win back her original identity? Will regaining her old memories disturb her and make her mentally unstable? Will it be better to simply accept the new woman and leave her to her "happiness"?

I leave the story open ended and would like 2 or 3 volunteers to undertake the project.
