Mind Control Kinks: Most Popular?

I'm curious to see if there are any Mind Control genre fans out there, and if so, what their favourite flavour of MC story is - whether you go for four colour superhero - bashers, creepy magical erotic horror, chemical restraint, corruption, hypnosis or a plethora of other kinds of MC schtick.

I've listed some of the common tropes in this poll, and it'll be interesting to see what the most popular MC kink is.

Interesting thread

I like the IDEA of mind control, but have problems with how it is presented.
This is a good list of the more common ideas people use.

Many of the choices that involve drugs or tricking the subject into submission are not for me. I don't want anything that is akin to rape, which is doing it without someone's willingness to do it.

Hypnosis is good, but becomes boring soon. But it can be used to allow someone to do something that they really WANT to do deep inside.

Some of the Sci-Fi stuff can be good because they can break down the barriers and invent some other physical and social realities.

I read a story where a guy is experimenting with some chemical drug in college, gets his female friend to assist him, and they both grow to enormous proportions.

My latest series started out as mind control and became a thought reading/empath story as posted. (I don't mean to be plugging my own stories because they probably wouldn't be enjoyed by mind reader story readers who are looking for only mind control.)

I'm still searching for the ultimate mind control technique to write a story about. I'm thinking of something where the girl/guy can trigger their subject into sexual hardness/wetness, in public or school or work, and please them any time they want to.
Any ideas?

Thanks. I didn't have space to include the "time stop" kink, that has a character develop some ability, or come into possession of a device or spell, that allows him to freeze time, enabling them to disrobe their victims and do all sorts of stuff to them.

Well, the odd thing is, not so long ago that sort of thing was the staple of the superhero / spy flick: the hero / heroine would find herself either conned into drinking something someone had spiked with chloral hydrate, or walks into a locked room that fills up with knockout gas. Fade to black.

The old 1960s Batman series was worst for that sort of thing, with Batgas and Riddlergas and Catwomangas everywhere, heroes getting caught in all sorts of traps, being injected with drugs that corrupted them and made them lose all their inhibitions ...

It was considered a lot less threatening to gas, drug, hypnotise or chloroform someone and gently bring them to the presence of the Bad Guy for the obligatory Fourth Act denouement, villain gloat, pit trap scene and escape, than to menace them with a gun in the face or just shoot them in the back of the head.

What nobody realised was that it was also incredibly erotic to us nerds who followed such shows ...

How about growth stories?

Some of the more erotic stories I have read on some sites deal with unusual growth of the sex organs, either penis or breasts. Maybe it is just my male penis worship but I find them very arousing and erotic.

Personally, I love deep, subtle mind control - the kind that, rather than forcing the victim to act against his/her will, instead makes the victim truly believe that s/he is controlling the actions. I like mental indoctrination or heavy manipulation of the environment more than magical or chemical elements - so I think I'm very much on the "soft" end. For example, I'd argue that my "Sweetness and Servitude" is essentially about a subtle form of mind/behavioral control, despite there being no chemical or mystical "power" of control - just careful manipulation of what someone sees and knows.

Oh, my favourite answer. In a way, all acts of seduction are a form of (attempted) mind control, aren't they? The choosing of a particular setting, a studied attire, a careful sway of a hip, a well thought-out approach.

I have only written one Mind-Control story, Plastic Love, which at least on the surface revolves around a chemical compound capable of eliciting love - a sort of hyper-pheromone - but the drive behind the story is a very different matter. It ends up more as a satire, playing with the expectations of the Mind-Control habitués, and it reflected on the way it was received (with practically the same amount of one-votes and fives, and nothing in between).

It was a very rewarding experience nonetheless.
