It's autumn, and the millipedes are back. Thousands and thousands of them, everywhere.
They're not the big ones - these are only about an inch long.
Every autumn they appear, and somehow get in everywhere.
I woke up this morning and there must be 500 of them right through the house.
I have no idea how they get in... maybe they're already in the ceiling or behind the skirting?
For the next 6 weeks or so, I will have to vacuum every day, twice a day to get rid of them.
They don't bite or anything, but they make a mess if you step on them.

Which seasonal pests do you have?

Urk - I stepped on one :(
Thank goodness for baby wipes... they'll take just about any stain out of carpet! And these millipedes leave an awful green/yellow mess.

at least they are not centepideds...those fuckers hurt!

Centipedes...
I had one in my boot back when I lived in the Northern Territory.
About 5inches long, and packed a hell of a punch when it got me on my toe.
My foot was swollen and burning for 2 days!
Haven't seen any here in Tasmania yet - maybe it's too cold for them here.

Just run outside to get away from them (It'll take them forever to get their shoes on - you'll have a huge head-start).

HAHAAHHAHhahhahaaahhaahaaaa........ ugh.
