Hi everyone. I don't know if this has been posted here before or not, but I'm doing it now, and sincerely hope that all of you will sign it.

It's a petition for equal rights marriage for the GLB community. The goal is a million signatures, and they still need a little more than 200,000.

But if we do sign, we might give ammunition to critics of the campaign. Outsiders are well advised to keep out of US politics. Foreign influence! is a powerful weapon to use against internal change.

McCarthyism isn't dead and many people in the US see Europe and the UK in particular as hotbeds of Reds and Pinkos, dangerously infected with Socialism.

I know we have a very international group here, so I certainly wouldn't expect anyone who's not living in The States to sign. I just didn't want to say, "All you non-USers piss off cuz yer no help." lol

I'd like to thank everyone who had already, did, will or would if they could. It takes people standing up and shouting, "I'm mad as hell, and I'm not going to take it anymore!" to get things done.

Y'all know I love ya, even though I ain't been around much lately. I been doing otehr things, and have kind of lost the habit of coming around regularly. I'm trying to change that, but, being a twit, I keep getting distracted. The fact that this was the first place I thought of when I found this petition should say a lot though, eh?
