One of the 'Extreme' documentary series on TV was about breast-feeding. A woman featured was still breast-feeding her 8yo daughter on demand, though reckoned that she would be weaned soon as that was the age at that her 10yo had stopped. Despite her husband suckling her as part of their sex-play she was still producing too much milk: one scene showed her reclining in a bath - in her late thirties, hefty boobs and (unsuprisingly?) teats like thumbs - and, without touching herself, was pulsing milk into the water. I think she might have benefited from a regular visit to a milking parlour. It all made me wonder how long a woman can be kept in milk and how much she can be brought to yield.
Then there was an edition of the 'Jerry Springer Show' with two women who were selling their breast-milk via the Internet.
The two strands together gave me an idea for a story: an entrepreneur starting up a cottage dairy business. Customers can be invited to watch the milking to assure themselves that the product is genuine, and favoured customers could take their milk straight from the source. If the business is a success the next step would be to build a 'herd', selecting 'heifers' with suitable genetic traits and favoured customers could participate in the insemination process.
Pity I'm not much of a writer: one effort (not here) got the comment 'terse'.
