MILK BATH
>>A blonde heard that milk baths would make her beautiful.
She left a note for her milkman to leave 15 gallons of milk.
When the milkman read the note, he felt there must be a mistake. He thought she probably meant 1.5 gallons, so he
knocked on the door to clarify the point. The blonde came to the
door and the milkman said, "I found your note to leave 15 gallons
of milk. Did you mean 1.5 gallons?" The blonde said, " I
need to fill my bathtub up with milk and take a milk bath." The milkman asked, "Do you want it Pasteurized?" The blonde said, "No, just up to my boobs, I can splash it in my eyes."

Doubtful. She was High Priestess of Isis and Osiris, Pharaoh of the Upper and the Lower Nile. History shows her very shrewd until ambition for the boy made her risk too much.

I always heard that the milk Cleopatra bathed in was the milk of Asses.

Must have smelled terrible

Whenever I think of Cleopatra I think of Claudette Colbert who starred in a movie of the same name. Whenever I think of milk baths, I think of Claudette Colbert (I must have her on my brain!). There was a 1932(?) movie called The Sign of the Cross. Sounds like a nice religious movie, doesn't it? That was when Cecil B. DeMille was using religious movies to sneak sex onto the screen.

Claudette Colbert took the sexiest bath I have ever seen in this movie- milk, of course. I think I was panting by the time the scene was over. She was nude during the scene and you could always see a hint of her nipples in the milk. Damn that was one sexy woman.

But then again, so are you, VB.

I like your appreciation of CC, Bullet. Those are two good pre-code films. Claudette's Cleopatra, in the beginning of the movie, comes across as a wisecracking dame of the times; it's incongruous amidst the sets and costumes but she pulls it off.

Pre-code films showed lots of flesh, but in so much more a really sensual and erotic way than now. Sometimes one could see clearly a woman's mons, or the trace of her nipples even if they weren't hard. The sleek satin gowns did wonders for the stars then, helped of course by the exquisite lighting of the cinematographers.

Women in film then had real bodies, curves, the works.
