There is a discernible difference in the two parties, Democrats enforce Party loyalty but Republicans better remember that their loyalty is to their constituency, plus, you have to admit the Democrats were united by never Trump, but the Republicans were disunited by it; the elite establishment types never got over the slap in the face that should have been taken as more of a wakeup call than insult and repudiation. That (olive) branch of the party that gives us candidates who do not know how to win, but rather how to lose with grace and manners.

Australia has the third most concentrated media ownership in the world after China and Egypt. Rupert Murdoch owns just under 60% of it. The remainder is pretty middle of the road. We don't have anything like CNN or say Vox for examples - so leftist reading is pretty hard to find.

I don't think this assessment.of Dems is on target.

Trump did solidify Democrat loyalty and it brought out more voters than ever before.

I think even more folks would have voted if Bernie was at the top of the ticket. My read is that this is why it was way to close of an election.

The Democrat base would.have turned out for Bernie, they would have held the noses and voted for him due to their loathing for Trump.

Bernie supporters, the ones far to the left, just didn't vote for Biden. They are much more ideological and they just will not hold their noises for anyone.

The Dems have way more votes out their they could get if they followed the direction of the party, which is farther to the left.

If he's making calls to GA's SecState, he's making called to generals. There's no question of it in my mind. Also, barely three weeks ago the Secretary of the Army had to remind everyone that: “There is no role for the U.S. military in determining the outcome of an American election.”

The military has pretty directly let him know they won't come out for him on this. But, yes, he's trying it, which is why they've responded on this already. This is an active coup attempt on Trump's part, supported by a good many people who should be under investigation for sedition.
