Along the same lines, here's something else that wasn't reported in the American Press.
Yesterday, I had a salad for lunch.
Guess what the american press is about selling things to the american public. So if you run across another thing you think that should be in the press ask yourself this "Will this make Disney, CNN or Rupert Murdoch some money if they break this story?"
Geez, it's the twentieth century for chrissakes.
It was intentional.

By the way, nearly everything you posted on the "Why don't I see this in the American Press?" thread yeterday I either saw on my local news last night or heard on new radio in LA, particularly that airplane crash item. And I'm sure this story is being reported, widely, too.
