My goodness, winning a district by that large of a margin must mean he has a clear mandate to fight crime by whatever means he wants. I wonder what edicts he will issue to "stop crime"?

You might recall Texas governor Greg "Hot Wheels Hitler" Abbott won by a similar margin and ended the crime of "rape" in Texas years ago this way! (He simply reclassified the legal term for "rape" as "felonious sexual assault", and voila (or "walluh" in Ishmael-speak) there has not been a "rape" in Texas ever since.

I just did a quick look at Mike Johnson's 4th District election win in Louisiana. No democrat ran in the general election race. Johnson had an opponent who was also a republican. Johnson did indeed garner 85% of the votes and his opponent got the remaining 15% statistically.

Now, a person who does any amount of critical thinking would ask: So, no one who was an independent or democrat decided to write in another person?
All those independents and democratic leaning citizens voted in lock step with either of the 2 republicans? In a general election, no less! Wow!

I would surmise if one did a survey of Congressional districts to determine where the highest concentration of marriages where husband and wife were simultaneously brother and sister, Mike Johnson's district would be in the top 5.
