It was in Milwaukee but drew people from as far away as SoCal and merry ol' England....

We will be returning to UK later this summer, and probably won't be returning here until next spring, to visit her family, at a time when I can enjoy the visit....i.e., NOT summer. If it's summer, definitely make it the Pacific NW. Seattle or the surrounding environs, Vancouver, Victoria BC... The latter is especially Brit-friendly! Lots of UK people seem to retire there. I think it has something to do with the suitability of the region for gardening. Also maybe the ease with which one can procure cannabis. Also, now that gay marriage is legal in Canada, I expect an influx of lovely pensioner couples wishing to spend their days gardening and their nights sampling a whole continent's worth of different wines, sitting in their hot-tubs with other similar couples.
