They say in space all things are minute...time and place can be a varying factor. In space, there is no sunlight...no blue clouds...nothing to reflect the brightness of the day. This worked out very well for one certain person...well...not so much a human any longer. Vampire, but in this part of space that was not really relevent.

The form that stood at the base of the ramp leading up into her ship seemed deep in thought. A small, petite frame swathed in all black and leather. Blaster mounted on one tone thigh, long trench coat covering all other parts of her body. Her black eyes unblinking as she lifted a hand and pulled her waist length raven hair away from her face. This was Sindel...bounty hunter...mercenary. Willing to do anything for a buck.

Tonight she was heading for a meeting...a meeting of her next target. Her contact had told her to go to the cantina and wait. He would be looking for her and not the other way around. She was to wait in the back corner booth until the meeting took place. All she knew was this new contact was insisting on going with her on the job. He wanted to make sure the job was done and done right. She laughed softly to herself..she had yet to lose a contract.

She didnt feed off of humans, but kept a ready supply of blood in her cryo lab on her ship. She had managed to have blood made for her from an old scientist friend of hers. Her head moved then as she heard the voices of the growing night crowd on the platform. Making sure her blaster was secured she turned and moved off towards the cantina...taking her place in the booth just as she was ordered. Hopefully a few more jobs and she could retire to a life away from everyone.

((need one male to play the male contact hiring her to search for his ex-wife...and his money. He will be human but very tempermental..sometimes overpowering..kind of like the battle of two stbborn minds. Send me a opening intro post sample..description of him is up to writer but he must be taller and very fit.))

The darkness taunted him, it was vast, reaching as far as the mind could fathom in every direction. He'd searched, oh how he'd searched for the little whore, and yet the shadows of space had swallowed her up like candy disappearing down an eager throat. She'd taken everything, she'd stolen his money, ruined his business, and seduced his second in command, and stolen HIS SHIP! Malachai's rage threatened to consume him. Were all women so infuriating? He smashed his fist down on the stainless steel table, not even feeling the impact that had people staring from across the room.

Luckily for him he never trusted anyone with all of his secrets. Some of his wealth was always stored away in the form of gold bars. And it didn't matter where in the universe a person hailed from, gold was still gold. He had two with him now, one to pay the mercenary to find the little hussy he'd married, and one as a bonus if she managed to recover his ship as well.

He didn't want his ex-wife dead, oh no. That was far too easy, he wanted her poor. Stranded and stuck on some god forsaken rock, and he wanted his custom designed and built cruiser returned to him no questions asked. That's why this merc had the job, her reputation was stellar, her references uncompromising. She could get his ship back.

He caught sight of the small figure swathed in black leather, with an impressive looking blaster at her hip, he smiled. She was here to talk business.

Sindel sized up the man approaching her table, her hand resting on her blaster beneath the table. Her black eyes unblinking as she waited. She didnt need plesantries so she went stright into work mode. "I can get your ship back, anything else you want. I have two rules..."she spoke softly the glint of her fangs visible slightly.

"Stay out of my way and it's my rules or nothing." She waited for a reaction from him as she stood. Her figure half his size but her body language telling most she meant business. She looked over her shoulder and noticed the port patrol snooping around. "Be at hangar 3 in half an hour,no baggage just what you can carry." She turned quickly her coat billowing out around her as she rushed by him quicker than most humans could move and then was gone.

Sindel hit the outside of the cantina and then with a hard kick to the ground launched herself upward. Her body blending with the steam and shadows, landing lightly on the gangway above her she hurried towards the sleek shi in front of her. Black as night, the thrusters rumbling from the warm up. She tossed a handfull of coins to the man she trusted her ship with each time in port. No words were spoken,a quick nod was given and she vanished up into the shadows of the ship.

It wasn't hard to take the small woman seriously. She was direct, intense, and perhaps a little moody but that was okay so long as she got the job done. Malachai rose dropped a few credit chits on the table and walked out. He had a bag with him and that was all he needed, his combat rifle was disassembled and stored neatly in it's case, along with his clothes and the gold with which he'd pay the Merc.

He stomped toward the appropriate loading dock his muscular bulk clearing the crowds from his path. Not many creatures in the 'verse wanted to piss off a human his size without a good solid reason. Humans had a reputation as being bat shit crazy, vicious, cunning omnivores they were considered oppurtunistic scavengers with a tendency overreact. That was alright with Malachai though, he didn't much care what aliens thought of him so long as they did what he wanted or at least stayed the hell out of his way. An elevator took him up to the elevated walkways.

He arrived at the ship, and looking up he had to admit it was quite attractive for it's size. It's engines were rumbling for preflight warm up already and though he was sorely tempted to just stomp on board he stopped at the bottom of the entry ramp and waited for the ships captain. It was just good manners not to step aboard without permission, if someone did it on his ship he would've snapped their neck without thinking twice.
