Currently looking for a male writer. This is a serious thread, not just a fuck fest so please PM me if you want the role. There is a storyline that I want to start with and I need someone that can follow it. Actually this will probably be a woman's kind of story, sappy and tearful to end, but I am wanting to try it, so please bare with me.

IC:

She sat at the train station waiting on the train to take her to her new home. No longer would she be at Benbrook and Fox, the place that she had learned all her skills. She was going somewhere new, where she didn't know anyone. A place to be alone.

That is the way she had spent most her days in the last six years. She shopped alone. She ate alone. The only other living thing in her life since him, was CeeCee, her cat.

Donald had left her six years ago. Actually it hadn't been left her really, more of a seperation of hearts, of friendships. He had gone to school in another state, North Carolina, and she had stayed in her little North Texas town to persue her life there. They left, never telling each other how they felt, but each knowing that the other would always have a place in the other's heart.

She smiled, remembering the last time he came through town, only a year after his departure. She was dating then, a brute of a man, named Darren. But still, Donald came, and they enjoyed their time together.

They would go for walks and talk of the past, still never saying a word about how they felt. She felt he would not be interested in her, for she had gained a bit of weight since she had last seen him. He didn't say anything, thinking that she was in love with her new beau. Neither could be more wrong.

She looked up from where she sat reminencing about old days long past. Her life was different now. She had CeeCee and a warm carreer that was only going up. She didn't need anyone else.

But that is when she saw him. Was it really him? Donald? She just stared, not believing her eyes. Would he see her? Would he recognize her?

OOC: Meredith, blue eyes, brown hair in curls, 5'4" a little pudge, but still a looker by anyones standerds.

Donald wandered through the station. He wasn't really watching where he was going, he really wasn't paying attention to anything. He looked at the quarter in his hand and sighed, dropping it back into his pocket.

He had just tried to call her. There was only one 'her' to him, in this town. Her phone had been disconnected. He almost felt like crying. His last link to her was gone.

He remembered the last trip he had taken here. He had come prepared to ask her to marry him. He had been stunned to find she had a boyfriend. But what did he expect after all. She was beautiful, and charming. Looking back, he thinks the surprising thing is that she hadn't been married, instead of merely dating.

He still had the ring. It was in his shaving kit. A bittersweet momento, to be sure, but now, it looked like it was the only one he would have. She had left, and not told him how to get in touch with her.

He had another hour before his train boarded. He had hoped they could have lunch together. Now, he didn't know...

"WHACK!"

He was jolted out of his reverie by a sudden fall, caused when he walked into a suitcase. As he fell, he caught a quick glimpse of a woman reaching to him, and a skirt, and shapely legs.

"I'm sorry Madam, I wasn't paying attention" He spoke as he levered himself off the ground. He turned to the owner of the suitcase. "I didn't mean to cause any.......MEREDITH!!!"

He stood there for a moment in slack jawed surprise, before grabbing her and hugging her tightly to him, burying his face in her shoulder.

Meredith

"I....can't....breathe..." She pushed out as he relented his a bit. "You.....uh, ....what are you doing here?"

She looked up in surprise. It was really him. "I can't believe I am lookin at you. You...it has been so long." She smiled, dispite herself. She was in a depressed mood, but seeing him changed that.

"I'm catching a connecting train. I just tried to call you. My company is shipping a large item to Sacramento, and I was elected to babysit it."

He sat her back down and sat next to her, holding her hands in his. "Your number was disconnected. I thought I had lost you"

She blushed. He had tried to call. "Yea, I am moving to Sacremento myself. That is why I am here. I was waiting on my train. HOw have you been?" It had been so long since she last saw him. She could hardly believe she was holding his hand, talking to him.

Last call to Sacremento California

"Wait that is me." she said, raising herself up and grabbing her luggage.

He looked surprised. "Really? There was only one train, and I thought it left in an hour."

He looked at his watch. "Damn, I forgot to set it for the time change."

He began helping her with her bags. "Hurry Meredith. This is my train too!"

Meredith

They walked giving their ticket as they boarded. She thought about him and his trip. What a wonderful trip they were to have, one night on this train. Lots of things to catch up on. She walked straight to her room, hoping that he would follow her. He did.

She set her bag down. "So, uh. Have you married yet?" 'I can't believe I just asked that." She said to herself, blushing with embarrasment.

He laughed as she blushed. "No, I'm not married. I....I was thinking the same about you earlier. Wondering if you were married that is."

Meredith

She only shook her head no. "I never married. Not the right time I guess." She said, for that wasn't the reason, but he didn't need to know the real reason just yet.

"This is my room." She said, not really knowing what else to say. "Donald, uh, I...." She stopped, not knowing how to tell him how she felt for so long. "What do we do now?"

He smiled at her. "I guessed that dear."

"Donald, uh, I....What do we do now?"

"well..I have some stuff I could drop at my room too. Then we could go to the club car and talk?"

He offered her his hand, as he stood up

Meredith

She smiled, not really wanting to leave his company. "Ok."

She then followed him to his room and watched as he set his stuff down, before following him to the club car.

"What would you like Ma'am?" The waiter asked.

"A Dr. Pepper please, thank you."

"And for you sir?"

"Diet Pepsi" He said, his eyes never leaving hers.

He seemed to be staring into her soul, he was looking at her so intently. Finally he sighed and looked down, when the waiter brought their drinks. Neither had spoke a word, they just had looked at each other.

"It seems kind of silly, Meredith, doesn't it? Why we never were together? I mean...."

He paused, and raised his eyes to look into hers again. "I never married, because I always had hoped it would be you"

Meredith

Her heart lept out of her chest to hear his words. How could she tell him why she never married? The pure and simple fact was she couldn't.

"That is what I had hoped, but you know you can't wait for me forever..." The words slipped off her tongue before she could catch them. "I mean, were you always just going to wait on me.
I think it is sweet. I never married, always hoping that you woudl come to me." Yes, that was it. That was what she wanted to say.

He sighed and took her hands again, leaning closer into the table, and to her.

"I did, Meredith. I did come to you. I had the ring and everything. It....it wass not the time however. I foolishly assumed someone as lovely and as charming as you would wait for me. You hadn't. You had a love of your own, by the time I had been ready to speak."

He quickly reached up and brushed the tear that had been forming in the corner of his eye.

Meredith

She reached out to him. "Don't cry. You were not fooliish. I would have waited had I known you were coming for me. You never told me. You had Mary when you went away, and I thought........I never thought you loved me.."

She began to cry, for her one weakness was that she could never watch him, or any man cry without tearing up on her own.

"But, Donald, you can't love me." She spoke those words, feeling her heart ache.....

He laughed, maybe a little bitterly. "I can't? Then what have I been doing all these years."

He took out a handkerchief and wiped away her tears. "I've always loved you, Meredith. I still have the ring I was going to give you."

Meredith

How could she tell him? How could her words come from her mouth and tell him? Tell him why she shouldn't love her.

"Donald, if I asked you to do one thing, and then leave but never think of me again, could you do that?"

"Never think of you again?"

"Meredith, there have been times these past 4 years that thinking of you has been the only way I have gotten through. But, I will try to do anything you ask of me. What is it, dear?"

Meredith

She blushed, knowing what she was about to ask him would be something she had never asked a man outright in her life.

"Make love to me." She said, her voice barely a whisper.

"I am sorry, what?" He said, obviously he hadn't heard.

"Make love to me. Please." She said, leaning forward for him.

His instinctive response was to turn to his humor defense mechanism. But, somehow, looking into her eyes, he couldn't.
He just nodded, and stood. He offered his hand to her again as she moved away from the table.

"A moment please" he whispered as he slipped into his cabin. He was only in there for 30 seconds, and he smiled at her and took her hand again, letting her lead the way to her room.

Meredith

She pulled him by his arm lightly to her room. She had to give him this one wish before the train stopped and they had to part ways once more.

"Thank you." She said, pulling him into her room. "I need this."

She stopped inside the doorway, wanting him to make the first move.

He stepped inside the room, and placed his hands on her shoulders, caressing down her arms as he leaned in close to kiss her. He relished in the taste of her. She gasped slighlty and he felt her arms go around his neck. He hugged her close to him, kissing her more passionately now. At the same time he semi-clumsily tried to lead her to the bed.

He yelped as he tripped on the edge of the bed, falling onto it, and pulling her down with him.

Meredith

She fell on top him as he pulled her down. Grinning she put her lips to his, pushing her way in his mouth. Her tongue mixed with his as two dolphins playing in the sea.

He tasted of....diet pepsi, yet, minty all the same. Lifting up, she simply said one thing, "Thank you."

He smiled at her as he caressed her neck, and down her sides, wiggling to get them both more firmly on the bed.

"Thank you for what?"

His fingers found the zipper on her dress and he began to tug it down.

She started undoing his shirt, pulling at his buttons as she answered....."For loving me all these years....for making love to me now.."

She looked him in the eye as the dressed slipt from her shoulders down exposing her breast, the white creamy flesh and the mauve nipples.

"I hope I am all you ever wanted." She said, before pressing her soft lips to his. She couldn't get enough of kissing him.....his taste...his eyes looking into hers..
