I know I have been away for a while and I suspect that more than a few things have changed around here but I had an idea for a thread.

It is set in the world of Midias. It is a peaceful place- a place fueled by magic and the sword. But in one area of this world the peace has been broken. A ruler- once good has been corrupted and now wishes to take control of the greatest power into the world- thus taking control of it. He has sent his minions out to find the one person capable of unlocking this power and bringing him back.

The other rulers, a council of sorts has found out what this ruler is doing and knows that they have to stop this from happening. In order to accomplish this they have asked a special group of people for their help.

I will take control of the evil king and his minions (I've always wanted to play an evil character) plus be a dungeon master of sorts. If you wish to join there are several rules that I must give you.

You can be any character that you wish to be- human, undead, elf- anything but try not to make the characters too strong. I don't want them to be able to destroy their enemies with one blow. There is only one character who will have the power to do that- the one that can unlock the power. One other rule is that when you create your character you have to create one other. The other is the council member- the ruler as he is your ruler and he is your guide.

The last thing I can say is have fun and I'll try not to limit everything you do.

Oh, there is only one this that I have to tell you about the powerful character so that everyone doesn't jump in and try to grab that one. This person is strong- very strong and can destroy anything or anyone that he or she wishes with a single powerful blow of magic but once he or she uses their power they are drained and he or she needs protection from the group. Sounds like fun, doesn't it.

Elias was once a good and fair ruler but his mood suddenly changed and he started to want more land and power than he currently had. He has delved into dark and powerful magic which has made him strong but has also destroyed his body- turning him into what looks like a frail old man (somewhat like the Emperor). He has found out about this power now and knows that it will give him what he wants most, his strength and body back and rule over every land in the world.

Eye Color: Violet

Background: The niece of the current king (actually the only daughter of his half brother who was in fact half-elven) of Brengaati, she was chosen for this most important task for her exceeding loyalty to her uncle. While other nations might lend warriors, magi, and assassins to the cause Via was sent as a diplomat. Brengaati's noble family have long been called the Peacemakers as they detest war above all failings of men. She is calm, gracious, and very disarming. Her uncle has also charged her to keep all secrets she may learn of her future comrades to herself and never share them, she will be the perfect confidant for the council's team and will help serve as the glue that keeps them together when tempers flare and nerves are tread upon.

The Brengaati King rules his small kingdom with a mild hand, generally heavy handed with taxes but generous with services. The Kingdom of Brengaati is beautiful but vulnerable, boasting only a ceremonial army at best. His interests in the council's success is great and genuine, if peace cannot be maintained his land would surely be overrun.

A dwarven noble, dedicated to serve his family, and the oath they gave in the last great war. The dwarves live now, mostly underground. They are trying to rebuild their once great cities. Lord Tol'Chuk feels that with the help of the humans, this can be accomplished.
Which is why he sent out on a mission to help the humans, with all their causes.
A strong, noble dwarf with a large battle axe and an angry snarl.
Not magical at all, but he can cut a person in half with his blade. Who needs magic?

Noble Dwarf, and part of the council. He represents the Eastern Realm and its contributions to Midias.

Red hair, 4 ft 2 inches tall.
A stubborn dwarf, who thinks that strength is mightier than magic. He has old belief's, but he's also a smart man. Do not mistake arrogance for stupidity.

I'm gonna cry. I had a long detailed look at two perfect characters going. Then, I tried to hit Ctrl-C and accidentally hit Alt-Space(that automatically closes the window). The post was previously two or so pages long and had introspection and wonder written all over it. Damn it. And I had a weak, sorry-ass character who couldn'y stand his own against a rat.

One thing I forgot to mention and it is a really important part in this.

When the one who has all the power- the one who can destroy everything with one powerful blow uses his magic he can be detected by Elias. Good twist isn't it.

There is also one thing about this character but I will tell that bit of information to the person who wants to be that character and I hope someone wants to be him or her- it won't be the type of thread that I hope it can be without this one person.

So jump on in as I already have the start of the thread ready to post- all I need is the characters.

The Seer


Name: Haruspexia
age: ? (there are rumors suggesting she is well into her thousands, but you know how people talk)
race: Elvin shapechanger
alternate form: winged serpent
appearance: Unknown as she is always heavily cloaked. Only her red eyes and high elvin cheek bones can be made out. Her voice is a sibulant seductive sound that can lull lesser beings into slumber.


Lady LilithSandra - Elven High Priestess of the Eastern Courts.
She is the only one who can command the Seer.
appearance: 5'7 with silvery blue hair that hangs to her ankles, frost blue eyes and winter pale skin. The classic beauty of elves marks her and enchants those she meets.
