This thread is intended to be place where people can discuss threads, have OOC conversations, discuss ideas for new threads, and for people who are online at same time to have some fun without creating a new thread, new setting, and new characters.
I hope people will slip in and out of thread just as bar patrons would. You can be your persona or yourself here, you can come and play as one persona, leave and come back as someone else. For me this is palce to try out new ideas and characters and discuss things out of thread and character.
So here goes,
Setting:
A cozy Irish pub, with roaring fireplace. Lots of polished wooden tables, cozy candlelit booths, and of course a lengthy well cared for bar. It's a place where cell phones, and laundry don't exist. Where a good mug of Irish stout will erase all the days aches and pains.
First off people should "enter" the bar and "exit" the bar as necessary. Secondly I am not tending bar, an imaginary efficient bar tender will bring you whatever you wish to drink. Thirdly I will monitor thread and my persona will "own" the bar and as owner have the right to throw people out (which I hope I'll never have to do) as well as use of the private rooms upstairs, which I extend use of to any of the more amorous patrons.
Down to business,
I entered my bar smiling at the bar tender and looking the place over. It was warm, a fire already roaring in fireplace. I nodded to bar tender and went to my private table, the bar tender brought me my ale and I enjoyed the beverage. I watched as people filtered in and out.
