Michigan students walk out protesting backpack ban "Ban Guns not Backpacks!"

Thursday was the first day of a new backpack ban for students at Grand Rapids Public Schools in Michigan. The ban comes after an 8 year-old brought a loaded gun to Stocking Elementary Wednesday, the fourth similar case this school year.

All guns are owned by someone. It is the responsibility of that owner to make sure they know where that gun is 100% of the time. If it is used in a crime...the owner is financially responsible for any harm caused
