We're making plans to visit Mackinac this summer. Having plans gives you something to look forward too but I agree completely; with our 6month winters with need a long, hot, lazy summer.

My issue is damn summer sports training. The shit starts a few days after school lets out and lasts all summer.

I was at soccer practice today and we got snowed on. Pretty hard. And my toes were frozen and numb. Grrr.
 
It snowed here for an hr yesterday, some flurries again this morning. All my daffodils are limp now. I have lost motivation, bitterly looking out the window while sipping my green tea.

We started an early garden :( Home Depot had plants 2 for $4 instead of the normal $4 a plant

I feel your pain. I won't have a lot of time this summer to garden as much as I would like. We keep getting teased with 60+° *pouting*
 
We got a late start last year and really didn't get a lot of anything. We did SO much work Saturday to get the area ready. Son widened the garden section before I got home then Wife and I tilled and planted....Probably all dead by this weekend now. We can replant but at least all the hard stuff is done now

You should know by now that it can snow even in may! Next time, plant tulips. They do much better in cold weather.

And BTW..,.. Your adorable when you pout. ;)
