Michigan Get Together!!!

We are in the process of planning a get together for Michigan Lit Members...

It will be held in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, Saturday, December 13th, 2003. For anyone that does not know the area, there is a huge casino and quite a bit of other stuff to do around Mt. Pleasant...

There are a few rules... general info about the meet can be discussed here on the thread... as in... what town it is in... but... all specifics will be handled through PM's... anyone posting any info on the specifics (time and exact location) on the thread will cause the locale to change and find themselves without a PM or phone call informing them of the change...

Ohhhh... I also wanted to point out, I AM NOT PLANNING AN ORGY!!! This will be a get together in a bar or restaurant or some other public place, however, what you all decide to do when you leave the get together, that is all up to you! If we get there and everyone hits it off and we decide that it NEEDS to be more intimate, hotel rooms can be discussed amongst the interested parties... LOL... but the main reason we are getting together is to meet in person and put some faces to the names!!!

It will be in a very public place... maybe a bar... a restaurant... the casino... a couple of us are scouting out locations in November... but there are enough places in Mt. Pleasant that we are sure it will be fun!!!

I hear you on the babysitter thing........

I would have to check with our travel director but I think the plan is to meet at some restaurant or bar for dinner and drinks so everyone will be responsible for their own expenses, but somehow I get the feeling that a few drinks might get sprung for.

As far as sharing a room if all goes well a bunch of us could all end up in one room anyways. hehehe

Let's see here....get a room with 2 queen size beds that takes care of 4, get a roll-away bed that's 5, the biggest drunk can sleep in the tub that's 6, loudest snorer can sleep on the balcony 7.......Sounds like Spring Break.
