As much as I'd love a Michigan get together can't be two places at once.

-chuckles- Ok, if it's only 3 and a half to GR, then it's only about 4.5 to Mt Pleasant. I can make the drive from here to GR in under an hour, BUT... doing the speed limit, it's closer to an hour and 15 minutes.

I said GR, different date, but I really don't care where as much as when. March first is on a Friday, and I will have to work. Right now I can not afford to take any time off. I most likely can make it on the second, but then again I may have to work, but I have a better chance of not working on a saturday than a friday.

Update

The 800 number for the comfort inn is 1 800 228 5150. We we book 10 rooms or more we qualify for a discount. How much I didn't ask. Attached to it is a Bennigan's restaurant.

If we are a "convention" we need a name. Maybe the "Thread" convention? *smile* Or . . . do we not all want to stay at the same place?

Yes, indeed, Bennigans is attached to the Comfort Inn, and right next to it, is the Fairfield, with Super 8 across the street. Our Comfort Inn is supposed to be excellent, and well, hell, Bennigans is our favorite resturant. However, for location, they are located next to the collage campus, which is across town from the Casino. Not that across town is all that big of a drive, it's only about 10 minutes taking the main roads. Overall, not to bad.


I think most of the bigger chains will give a discount if we book 10 or more rooms together.

And yes, we need a name. Lit Convention?
Something... sexier?
