I just downloaded it but see no reason for it. Appears to be like Facebook. It will download your address book if you want. There is an option to add people when you first sign up. But... I have Facebook so I don't need this at all.

I looked again, Upper left. "Invite friends".

Not that I use Facebook much but I have that for friends. I am more interested in another way to meet new local people. With CL personals gone, that only leaves Lit and it is not for good meeting locals. Most on Lit want to hide behind their keyboards.

Not everyone insists on eternal anonymity, but it is a real challenge just to *find* local people on Lit.

I've met a few ladies over the years but, at least for New England, it *takes* years because Lit draws people from all over the world, and is not designed to facilitate real-life connections in the first place.
