I heard a gay man say something about using oral-gel on his penis. I thought I have been around but this one blew me away. Just the thought of having something on the snake that might cause burning I'm screaming OUCH! What's the deal with that?

Could he maybe have meant orajel, the numbing stuff? If not, there's all kinds of folks in this world. I dated a guy in high school who like to use Carmex (lip balm with menthol and camphor) as lube for jacking off.!

Icy Hot would be for Masochists.

stamina?

If it was indeed orajel then he probably used it to numb the sensitivity and prolong stamina. Coincidently, I once, on a dare, dabbed some icy hot on my cock - never ever ever do that!

Hmmm, maybe you should ask over at the GLBT forum? someone there might know. :roe:

This is more of a GB type of thread.

it has a tingly numbing effect. kinda like lube with a bit of a bite

I had a guy try and dry fuck me once. He smeared his cock with Brillcreme, saying, "A little dab'll do ya."

I fucking left!!!!!!!!!!!

Probably Orajel (tm) or a generic equivalent and the purpose is just the opposite of "burning" -- it contains benzocaine, a topical anesthetic, to stop teething or other gum pains and is very effective at stopping burning (and most other) sensations.

Orajel actually makes a lot of sense as a desensitizer for sex because it's waterproof and relatively slick -- it has a non-petroleum grease base -- and it's cheaper than products with the same active ingredient that are marketed as sexual desensitizers.

Not necessarily. My wife used to like to try all sorts of concoctions on my penis when giving me a blow job, ranging from whipped cream to banana pudding, flavored sex lotion to Anbesol.

I enjoyed it all, except the Anbesol. I take long enough as it is, and getting a blow job for over half an hour gets more than a little frustrating.

So, is it a gay thing?

That depends. Do you think gay men are the only ones interested in prolonging the time before they come?

I suspect, BlackSnake, these people are right - Ora-jel. My neighbor's boyfriend uses Prolong all the time. (He still a wimply little dick, btw.) Does the same thing. (Deaden's his dick so he can last long enough to get it in  )

This discussion brought a question to mind . . .

Is there any topical applicant that can INCREASE stimulation? I'd sure like to know.

Menthol's supposed to be good, although I've found it to have little on no effect on me.

Try this - have no personal experience of it but it sounds interesting! ;)

Be careful with the methanol... whilst it may not affect some people, other people may find themselves to be over sensitive, and find it very uncomfortable indeed.

Just as a general statement of course.
