Merry Christmas! (here already?!?!)

Where has the year gone? Egad! It's flown by faster than a Mach 10 sleigh pulled by 8 tiny reindeer (plus one).

This is the first time in at least six years that Christmas and New Year's have fallen on my natural days off. Though I did agree to work Saturday night ... the siren song of holiday overtime is too great to resist.

I didn't think I would get everything done. Wrapped the last of the presents last night -- oops, except for one hiding in the attic I will have to sneak a chance to wrap tonight -- and got the cards sent out, better late than never. The house is all Christmasy, the cookies are baked, and I bought Benadryl to drug my hubby and kid senseless tonight. Otherwise they'll both be up until two and awake by three-thirty ...

Anyway, to all my Lit friends who celebrate the holiday, I hope yours is full of warmth, light, love, and lots and lots of cool prezzies!
