It’s a good place. I was just discussing that this morning, after you and others were so kind about the death of my pup. There is a presumption of kindness and dignity on the bdsm board, which isn’t true of all lit boards (or the larger world of course).

There are the inevitable fights and anger and disagreements, but the larger vibe over time is one of basic kindness. Perhaps part of that is because people with an inclination toward D/s often know what it is like to be vulnerable, and to not always be fully accepted for who they are.

Don’t underestimate how your honesty about your own slings and arrows the past years has empowered or inspired others. It’s probable that you have caused others to be more honest and vulnerable, and to appreciate the wonderfully temporal. Thanks for that, and Merry Christmas to you.
