I would also like to add my name to the list to borrow and forward "The Red Tent"...I will also be one of the ones signing my given name...
I signed it with my given name then (my Lit nick in parentheses). Both of them went over a comment about the book's meaning to me. Last week i sent the book off to april-wine. She should have it by now, even allowing for a California to eastern Canada time lag. I think espressolover is next in line.

I love the idea of it making the rounds here and would like to have it back again, some time, if only to see the comments before i send it on to another one of us.

I think this is wonderful & am looking forward to reading it! It will be interesting to see how many miles are logged on this book & comments of everyone who reads it.

thank-you cym.....:rose:

staggers through the door

*gasp* chocolate......I need chocolate

Thank you all of you wonderful women (and men) of Lit. for this thread. I have only this afternoon discovered it.

Heightened senses were mentioned earlier, I experience this and also an enormous burst of energy on the first day. I am also at my most creative during PMS week. This is when most of my "projects" are born. Am I strange, or is this true of a lot of us?

Am I in the right place?

To share that my back and legs hurt. That my breasts are tender and not in that really good way. That earlier today I had somewhat of a chocolate "issue" you might say, with those mini twix bars and am beginning to crash from a reeling sugar high.

Yuck.

*cuddling up in the armchair in the corner* my turn to move in for the week

could somebody fix me a chocolate IV drip please? the highly concentrated one, please.

Halo :rose: -- who  her panadol at the moment

I should expect my visit with "Aunt Flow" any day now, but I must say that I envy anyone who goes for less time than I do, and honestly, I don't think my cycle isn't normal.

I go for about two or three weeks, then I skip a month (or two or three). My doctor tried me on the pill, but I have migranes, and it made my migranes worse. And, as it is, I get at least one bad (and I mean bad) migrane right before I start my cycle.

The bitchyness has started, so if I say anything to offend anyone, or really ream someone out, this is your "formal" worning. :D

Best thing is, when I'm feeling particually "out of it", I can just scream at my mother "Watch out, or I'll become a card-carrying republican!!!" About three hours later we're in the store buying aresoul cheese (my lil "crave") and lots of big fluffy uncomfortable pads...

I know I'm one of those people with silly things between their legs, but can I get on this damn list?

I wann read

I have Ruby's copy now..... In after the coming weekend, I'll probably be ready to send it on. (Unless unforseen delays arise).

I think we should be careful about listing where these are going.

I don't want to send a copy to a person that is getting the other one too, so I recommend that we start a list thread, and that if you apply for it, you only apply for it once, and to one person.

I am not sure, but I figure that more women may want to read it, but don't know we are exchanging it.

Chef, You can have a read at it. No biggie. I don't see why men can't sign up for the exchange, but you all have to promise to add in your 'woman' name, along with your real name, on the inside cover page, because you are getting in touch with your inner woman.

My woman name is my real name dear, especially when French pronounce it.

Somebody bash me for an adress when my turn comes up

Yo!

april-wine is halfway through the copy i started on its way.
It's going to espressolover next.

As far as i know, you are responsible for getting in line, for stepping up to the plate to whomever has one of the copies and saying, "Me next! I want it next!" and then remaining on top of things so that you actually do get it next.

There is no central list.
There is no appointed list tender.

If you want it, YOU gotta make sure you get it.

Make sure you read it in an appropriately brisk manner.
Make sure you write your names, real and Lit, inside the cover along with a a short little thing about what you got from the book. (At least, i'd really love it if the people reading my book would do that - i don't know if Ruby has that as an expectation or not.)
Make sure you send it on to the next person.

And have a nice day, okay?
:rose:

Will do Cym!
I'll be more than happy to send it along as soon as possible after I receive it.

I also posted this on Starfish's other thread on the Red Tent...she has alot lined up there also...so between the two threads we should be able to keep this thing going continuously until we reach everyone.
:rose: :rose: :rose:

I also wanted to post this here...
Svedish_Chef has expressed his interest in being the next in line for The Red Tent...it will be going on to him from me.

He will send it on from there.

:rose:

It's that time again. I just started.

I think it is odd how I started on the 5th of the month last, and now the 4th of the month. That isn't 28 days. I am late.

I normally don't care about my flow, but I have to say that this is not a good time.

I have the flu... bad. I've been in bed all day, and I am literally feeling like I am on my death bed. Then this comes and I am cramping and my back is splitting. And what is worse. I have two finals this week, and I've not begun to study yet. :(

I am going back to bed. I hate life right now. Too much stress.

*Hugs you back*

Can I have those Reese's peanutbutter eggs?

Those are the answer to most of the worlds problems.

:D

Sorry to hear that Starfish.
I know about the pain.

I just started also...oh do I ever need snackies and a hot water bottle!
:( :rose:

I hope you get better soon.

Fuck.
That means mine's coming in a week and a half.
Geezus gods - are these months going by A LOT faster than they used to or what?

~handing Fishy and espressolover hot water bottles, the red rubber kinds, and some Midol~
