Mensa Update

This is the latest info I have from e-mail. Tomorrow is the day, praying everything will go alright for my friend.

I hate feeling helpless. Where the hell is a magic wand when you need one ?

Thank Laurel and Manu for me, will you? Tell them that all I really need
is their good thoughts, they mean so much. I don't know all the particulars
yet other than I'm appointed for 10:00 am on Friday April 12. When I get
there, they will fill me in on procedure and where I'm to go.

In lieu of flowers, as kind as the thought is, perhaps they could make a
small donation to the Heart Fund on my behalf. That way their kindness
toward me will benefit others as well. Please tell them thank you for making
Lit a place of refuge from the hurly-burly of R/L, it has helped me keep my
sanity on more than one occasion.

Thank them both for thinking of me and I hope to see them soon back on the
Board, God willing and a steady surgical hand. LOL

Mensa and I exchanged some PM's a couple days ago.

He is a hell of a great guy and my thoughts and prayers are with him.

I have to say as well - he's a hell of a tough guy. A survivor. There is no way he isn't going to be back here and posting in no time. I refuse to believe otherwise.

I'm making my donation to the heart fund AFTER he comes back here and has a drink with me.
