I was supposed to meet this woman at a bar... She stood me up... So, after about three hours of drinking, I wound up leaving with another woman...

I know... I'm bad...

But, she shouldn't have stood me up...

This wasn't quite being stood up, but a girlfriend was obviously starting to divide her time between me and another guy. I waited for her birthday, threw her a surprise birthday party with all of our friends and even gave her gifts. However when I gave her my present I told her I was breaking up with her as I handed her the gift. I hope she was never able to enjoy that copy of Lost Boys. :)

I've been stood up once by this guy ... and I just might have a bit of a temper. We were supposed to go to a party where a bunch of our mutual friends were, and after waiting for about an hour where we were supposed to meet I went ahead and drove to the party. When I got inside I called his cell phone and told him (rather loudly) that I was sorry he couldn't get it up and give it to me. Of course, no one around me knew "it" was his nerve ... as in he couldn't get up the nerve to "give me" a call to cancel? I might have been a little vague. Hm.

LoL, I try to make allowances sometimes. Maybe it's the Texas in me - or wait - us? You told someone off too, right?

I simply do not have the person in my life any longer. No getting even, no doing anything to make me look foolish. They are gone, plain and simple.

Ignored him.

Yes. Like you and SC, what is the point of "getting back" at someone? When you're wronged by someone, regardless of how, there is nothing accomplished by responding in a like manner.

Just walk. It's not worth it to expend the energy on more negative behavior.

I dispise and loathe being forgotten or stood up.
Last time it happened- went home, changed into black jeans, my heeled knee high boots, black shirt, and stormed into where he worked, pissed and dark.
Quietly, in front of all the people he worked with, demanded his car keys (we live one block from where he works) and took off.
He was home a half hour alter begging forgiveness. Took a while and a lot of "manual labor" for him to be forgiven.
Not very cruel, I suppose, especially for one named "Angel of Vengeance." Damn soft heart sometimes... I've lost my edge.
