As far as livestock go, 700 lbs. is nothing. I have a young bull that's over 1000 lbs and still growing. He'll break 1,200 lbs before I sell him. :-D

Domestic pigs eating their owners is a common thread throughout history. It doesn't make for much literature but any farmer knows it. Throughout the hog and corn country of the MidWest, small children aren't allowed anywhere near the hog pens for that very reason. Sad, but hardly uncommon.

Agriculture is the second most dangerous civilian occupational field, but the number one cause of death or injury is farm machinery, not livestock. The number two cause is drowning. Of course you want to be careful around livestock, they are often larger than you and capable of inflicting grievous harm in just a moment. It is always more dangerous for children, because they are even smaller than adult.
