Omigod, it's finished!

The last (?) chapter of Erica's memoirs. Now what do I read?

Mickie has done a wonderful job in his part of Erica's memoirs, combining Gaelic mystery with human emotion, in a beautifully crafted tale.

Read and enjoy.

Thanks, Alex! Yes, now the chain chapters are finished, but not if Judo has her way! Perhaps we'll have even more adventures, but for now, the thing to do is go back to the beginning and re-read them!

The link to all the chain stories is here, so you can read all the chapters, one after the other.

Chain Stories

For those of you who don't have a clue as to what Memoirs of a Lady is about -- here's an introduction...

Her name is Erica, and she's the woman on the home page that greets all who enter Literotica. The Memoirs are about her adventures in life, and what a romantic, steamy life she's led!

Thanks to all who contributed!

Anonymous feedback

I received an anonymous feedback for this chapter, and I thought I’d share it here. No, I’m not being facetious, or trying to one up the person who sent it. I take my feedback seriously, no matter what kind of opinion the person who wrote it has. This is an honest opinion, although I disagree with it.

Quote --
Of course, one basic purpose of Literotica is to allow criminals to write crime fantasies under the guise of First Amendment protection. So there\'s a dark, sick side to Literotica too. The cure wouldn\'t be censorship, but a sense of responsibility on the part of the web site.

I’m assuming you’re referring to the non-consent category here. If you have something else in mind, please let me know. You can respond here as a guest, and I promise I won’t call you names.

The basic purpose of Literotica, much the same as the basic purpose of your feedback, is expression of thought and ideas. Do you, as a human being, deserve to be castigated for believing something that you think? Should a person who dreams of being raped be taken to the nearest psych facility and told how damaged they are? I, personally, am very interested in the reasons why a woman might fantasize about being raped or forced to have sex. There is a huge psychological drama this involves, and I, as an amateur psychologist, want to understand it. So I write a story or three about the subject. Because I can imagine being both victim and rapist, should I then be put into a rubber room so I won’t hurt anyone, or get myself hurt?

There is, in my opinion, a bit of a double-standard here, and I accept that. Laurel does not accept pedophilia, and yet she does accept rape stories that are actual rape stories. There is no clever end that makes it into not a real rape. I may disagree with her distinction, but I, as an author and NOT the site owner, accept her decision. The same reasoning applies to my thoughts on that subject. A person who writes about pedophilia is not necessarily out raping their daughter, or the neighbor kids. That, as well, is a taboo I’m interested in learning about because of the psychological drama involved. NOT because I want to have sex with my daughter. I’m a writer, and conflict inspires me to write about it, no matter the subject.

Please, if your sense of moral obligation is so strong, respond to me here, on this thread, and tell me why I, as a writer who believes in exploring the criminal mind as well as the ‘normal’ mind, should not do so? Don’t put the blame on the site, but on the authors of such tales. Aren’t we the criminals who should be locked away from society? Or should site owners become the Thought Police?

Fun!

Mick -

You ol' salty dog! Where can I sign-up? If the cruise ships sailing out of Long Beach even hinted at such delicious events as Erica's stormy "double," LA would be a desert. Oh, wait a minute...hmmmm.

And the portals slowly close on the life and times of Erica...~~sniffle~~

Mickie, I loved your chapter. I knew I wouldn't be disappointed. Makes me want to take a sea voyage.

Mickie - wonderful stuff. It engages the heart and mind as well as the libido. Well done.

And to all the authors who worked so hard to make this story the wonderful read that it is, let me just say that it has been an honor to be a part of the group. Maybe the best way to put it is this: You guys throw a helluva party and whenever you get the urge to throw another one, count me in.

Yes, what they all said and more

I'm sorry this ride has come to an end. It's been an honor and privilege, all of you.

Great work. I'm impressed and inspired by you all. Count me in if you all ever want to play again.
