I was wandering around the member’s area today, looking for something to do.

When I had scanned through the first few pages, I reordered the information by number of posts, and went to the back for a laugh.

I began working my way forwards 3 pages at a time, time after time I clicked those next 3 pages up / down (you know what I mean).

At long last I reached a page, where the number of posts had risen by an infinite amount, (that is to say it went up from 0 to 1).

Then working things out with my busted calculator, I came out with these figures.

There are 5637 members registered on the BB, 2768 have posted, 2879 had not when I started this thread, so 49% of members have posted 51 % had not.

30 have made more than 1,000 posts.
70 have made more than 500 posts.
109 have made more than 300 posts.
222 have made more than 100 posts.
330 have made more than 50 posts.
420 have made more than 30 posts (or there are 420 ex-virgins on the BB).

My devious mind then worked out, 92.55 % of this BB are still virgins, (ok I used the calculator). This also led to me licking my lips, LOL.

So I would like to thank the silent majority for their commitment to making this board the place it is.

Let's hear it, give it up big time for the silent majority.

lol! Actually, that number includes all of the authors who've been added to the database. The plan for the new site is that the BB and the main site will share a database. This way, you can use the same login to submit to the site and to access the BB. Most of the authors have never even visited the BB - they do the chat, or they just submit & read - so that skews the numbers a bit.

Either they are:-

1) All Lasher
2) All Manu
3) All Registered members under other names.


To find the answer will take another day when there is nothing happening on the BB.

Ok so it went quiet again, here are some more stats.

Working on the fact that there had been 133,911 posts in total at the time of this post.

Counting the 100 posters with the highest number of post, (YAWN) they had made 85,300 posts or 63.5 % of total posts.

Counting the 200 posters with the highest number of posts (YAWN YAWN) they have made a further 18528 posts another 14 %. So the 200 highest posters have made 77.5 % of all posts.
