Not a Melania fan, but I don't go after her for plagiarism. She has no background for knowing what plagiarism is and how it works. The use of Michelle's speech was pretty much appreciation for Michelle on her part--which couldn't be easy in her situation--and total lack of experience and brains on her handlers' part. The brochure was 100 percent the lack of brains on her handlers' part. (They don't get a "lack of experience" consideration anymore). I doubt she knew anything about the brochure in the first place. She probably should just stop trying to have a national program to promote because her husband's vileness undercuts anything she could champion. Probably should just be content with being credited for putting on a good state dinner (even though there's only been one of those in more than a year and one would have to discount her White House Halloween decorations for Christmas).
I think she'll be remembered for her nudie photos (and probably for being an escort prostitute) and for being better than her husband (which doesn't take much for anyone except the person who has to do it in public as she's doing).
