She only took the DC bar exam once and, yes, failed. But there are many attorneys who do fail the bar exam their first time for various reasons. While I am not a fan of Hillary, I think it's wrong to vilify someone for not passing. She did pass in Arkansas.
As for the rapist, I've read so much mixed information that I am not going to comment on that aspect.

It's also silly to attack her on that legal case. She was assigned to the case, asked not to take it, was told she had to, and if she hadn't given it her best shot she could have been disbarred. So, it's her fault she did a better job of an assigned case than the prosecutor did? (Oh, and the rapist didn't get off--they plea bargained and he went to the slammer.)
Just more Swiftboating of her. She's got her problems, but she has been demonized unmericifully for decades (while continuing to be voted the most admired woman in the world).
