Im 20 and new to this state. Not my first year of college, but having trouble meeting a girl. Any tips?

Thank you for the encouraging words sereneone4u but its the waiting that sucks haha. Coming to a completely new place i thought it would be a lot easier.
giventake 65 my thoughts exactly, problem is im a tech major so no girls.

I felt what you are feeling now. College didn't live up to how I envisioned it but I still had a great time. Just have to put yourself out there and not be afried to have a good time.

yeah thats what im trying to do. not much of a sports guy so trying to figure places to go and meet people outside of the cafe haha

I'll reiterate what other people have said - join clubs where there are a lot of girls involved. It's a long time since I took dance classes (that was before I was old enough to take much interest!) but I can certainly recommend dramatic societies and music. I met a previous girlfriend through choral singing in sixth form, and there are certainly a few couples I know at uni who got together through music and drama.
Also, since you're doing a technical subject, find out about cross-subject events. I'm sure things are a little different out in the States, but here in England Southampton has a regular Engineers + Nurses ball, and Glasgow has Engineers + Psychologists (though I have my reservations about psychologists ), the purpose of which is to get some mixing between male-heavy and female-heavy subjects.
