On other threads, it sounds like some Literotica people have managed to meet each other IRL (in 'real' life) after meeting on this site...does it really happen? And I'm not talking about meeting for sex (although that's not at all objectionable), but mainly just meeting to chat with interesting folks face-to-face.

Anyone want to recount an anecdote?

I have met two litsters just for kicks and a day or so.

No sex...just great friends!



In terms of "How to..."

If you get to know someone that you connect with and trust, don't waste time, just meet.

Too many people put off the grand meeting until this is right and that is right, well "Soon" is a lousy and tiresome answer.

Just do it.
Live a little.

I've met several people from Lit...all were very pleasant encounters, except for one. We met for either a meal, or to go boating, which we do frequently because we've become really good friends.
I recently met my sweetie in person, and it was the most wonderful weekend. He'll be back in 2 weeks, and it's all good.

I've met a few, some by "coincidence" (as in, 'hey, you're in X'town, and I'm going to be passing throught next Sunday afternoon, wanna grab a coffee?') to an actual organized (okay, semi-organized) Lit getogether to having someone stay with me for a while (while he was visiting other people). I haven't regretted one experience yet. It's not like you're instant friends or anything, but you don't lack for conversation. "Did you get what so-and-so said the other day?" "Oh, man, that guy's crazy!" etc. It's really pretty cool, when you think about it. For me, at least, the transition into r/l was seamless.
