Medieval style

I would like to see a story based in the Medieval days set in a kingdom ruled over by a merciless Queen or Goddess. She would be based in a castle or a palace and would have an army of mainly submissive followers.

No kingdom would be complete without a general, an army, guards, servants, prisoners, slaves, possibly the odd witch or two, merchants and a harem. Neither would a castle be complete without a basement/dungeon, a tower, servant quarters, a throne room, lots of bedrooms, a massive garden and a labyrinth.

With all of these thrown in and lots of detail, a story like this could provide a lot of entertainment. I would also like to see a story like this but with a Pyramid instead of a castle. In this instance, the labyrinth and the dungeon could be rolled up in one. I think there are lots of possibilities for plots like these.

Just something extra I wish to add

Of course, I'm not too good with providing detail. I am very good at sketching out plots for stories but I am hopeless at adding colour to them. You probably noticed in my previous message...I'm sure there are many more rooms I could have listed for example.

Perhaps it is because I was never that great on History. A good knowledge of the Medieval times, castles and ancient cultures would help tremendously in a storyline like this.

I would love to see other people post stories on Literotica like the one I suggested. Since my attention to detail is poor, all I can do is make suggestions. Well at least that is some contribution!!

Have to echo those comments. The Anne Rice series is wonderful for what you are asking for. I would like to see a more "historical" version than hers though. Can't imagine that all the neighboring kingdoms were peaceful and agreeable!

But for a great steamy read, it is a must not miss.

I've always been a fan of Medieval and Renaissance time periods. Sadly, though, I don't think I'd be able to do such a story historical justice.

Some interesting ideas...

Rather too much detail for a short story, but as I do historical reenactment of the medieval period I could have a think about things.

I'd like to do a story set in the medieval period.
